The Women’s Fund for Scotland is a constituent fund of Foundation Scotland. Foundation Scotland provides our governance, accounting, support structure, management and reports to the Office of the Scottish Regulator (OSCR) on our behalf.
The Women’s Fund also uses Foundation Scotland’s grant making services and expertise, which includes due diligence, application provision for beneficiaries, assessment, monitoring, evaluation, reporting and more.
We use Foundation Scotland’s charity number for our development work and Foundation Scotland provides management and support for our part-time Development Manager. Our volunteer Development Board is led by our Chair, currently Fiona MacLeod, who meets regularly with the Chief Executive of Foundation Scotland. Our Development Board includes Tom Ward, who is the Chair of the Foundation Scotland Board of Trustees. As well as Sue Robertson and Gwen Stewart, who both sit on the Foundation Scotland Grant making panel.
As we are part of a larger charity our finances are not separately audited – you can access FS’ accounts here: https://www.foundationscotland.org.uk/about-us/publications/
