The grant would contribute towards salary costs (£1,920); insurance (£220); admin (£800); volunteer expenses (£60); training (£910); Transport (£555); Activity costs (£64); tools/ materials/protective equipment (£600); and film production (£3,168) to more actively engage girls from black, minority ethnic and faith communities with the Green Angels programme and produce a film about the Green Angels work in order to boost social presence and widen participation generally. The Green Angels programme consists of a core open programme on Saturdays once a month, involving outdoor learning, environmental education, nature connection and practical environmental volunteering in a highly supportive, nurturing atmosphere. Green Angels Project Leaders are adult volunteers particularly interested in building positive relationships with the girls through regular contact and support. Around 36 young women would benefit
