Full description
The grant would cover the cost of a Curry and Ceilidh (C&C), women-only engagement event (£2,500) and provide a budget for at least another three events in 2018 (£2,500). This will be the second C&C event bringing women together for a social evening of dance, music and food, as well as information from organisations delivering services for women and/or BME groups promoting their services and engaging with the communities they are committed to reaching. After the last C&C event, participants said they wanted more socially-based information evenings and 3 more took place; planned, organised, delivered and hosted by women who volunteered after the first event. The budget has been carefully and reasonably worked out based on this year’s events, however, this may go further and cover more. 120 women would benefit
