Full description
The grant would contribute towards delivering ‘The Women’s Voice’ programme. Total costs per year are for a Project Worker’s time (£5,160), sessional workers (£2,700), transport (£360), premises costs (£540), administration (£1,000) and advertising/publicity (£100). ‘The Women’s Voice’ programme is an initiative that will deliver storytelling workshops to women affected by violence. The workshops will be led by a qualified storyteller and a supporting artist. It will run three times per year on a weekly basis for 10-12 weeks. The focus of the sessions will be on encouraging women to use storytelling and narrative approaches as a creative outlet to allow them to build confidence and regain self-esteem. It will be available to women across Glasgow and will benefit 90 women per year
