Full description
To provide service development and training costs to enable the International Crèche to support up to 18 women experiencing discrimination and disadvantage (14 BME) to work, study, gain respite or access Centre services. Unsubscribed childcare in the City Centre costs up to £250 per week, which is not affordable for the client group even with maximum working tax credit. BME women experience discrimination in recruitment and employment, despite being, as a group, better qualified than the general population and lack of affordable childcare is a key contributing factor in this. 30 people will benefit from this project.
