The grant would contribute towards staff (£11,385) and operational costs including participant costs, room hire and office costs (£8,871). The staff working on this project will split their time between Edinburgh Women?s Aid and Shakti Women?s Aid enabling the project to reach a diverse range of women. It will provide match funding to allow their employability project to be extended by 8 months. It will allow the organisation to invest more staff time into 1:1 support, coaching and workshop activities which assist women to meet their goals and access additional training, volunteering, work placements and employment. It will also provide time for the organisation to plan how this can be integrated in to their core services. 30 women will benefit from this project.
