“It is absolutely vitally important to have women only funding. There is very little provision for women. There are many cultural groups where women don’t want to mix. There is a dynamic with women only that is very different to a mixed group and most of the women’s organisations are no longer women only. WFS are possibly the only organisation that’s doing what they do. Without single-sex you are excluding women from participating in things, especially those who don’t or can’t interact with men.”
