Six weeks of introductory craft activities for women to exhibit at the International Women’s Day event in March 2007. By providing craft specific activity for women WHALE will be able to evaluate demand to include this type of activity in future funding applications for core activities to be included in the ongoing timetable for the Learning Centre. These workshops will allow them to offer new activities to existing female participants and make WHALE more appealing to new women living in the area, including those from different ethnic or cultural backgrounds making the workshops more interactive and culturally aware.
