To highlight the gender dimension of poverty through holding an event commemorating Dundee’s History of string women such as Mary Brooksbank the social reformer. The outcome which they are aiming for is to increase the self confidence of today’s Dundee Women. To provide opportunities for women to access services by having a range of stalls and activities on the day, to provide opportunities for migrant workers and women from other ethnic minorities to feel part of local communities.
