The one to one surgeries will enable and empower women to represent and advocate on behalf of their child/young person make informed decisions and participate as an equal partner in discussions regarding their child/young person’s education. Therefore, by giving the mothers the knowledge and understanding of the new legislation in relation to their individual case and its implications they will be able to uphold their legal duty, which is to ensure their children receive efficient education suitable to their age, ability and aptitude.
