£4,356 is requested to cover the cost of CY?s proposed #Girlpower programme between September 2018 – March 2019. This includes £2,881 in staffing, £400 project management and £1075 in workshops and running costs. The project focuses on engaging girls aged 12-18 in a range of sports, physical activities and wellbeing workshops. Delivery will be integrated into existing provision of the Open All Hours (OAH) partnership, which takes place on Friday evenings across many Edinburgh venues. Working closely with Edinburgh Leisure and other agencies, CY will focus on deeper engagement with up to 76 current female attendees to their Friday OAH provision at the Commonwealth Pool. Girls attending have expressed a desire to access activities such as yoga and combat sports, which will be delivered alongside wellbeing and relationships workshops.
