To provide 6 x 2-hour therapy sessions for at least 15 women as part of International Women’s Day celebrations. Therapists will perform treatments in reflexology, reiki, Indian head massage, crystal therapy, hand massage and facials. All of the members care for children who suffer from autism. This will enable them to experience the therapeutic qualities provided by these treatments without having to make special arrangements for childcare as the project will take place during a regular meeting session. There will also be opportunities to arrange further sessions if required, and to discuss, more in-depth, the benefits. It is anticipated that 15 women will benefit from this project.
