The grant will cover costs of purchasing projection equipment, a digital camera and a mobile flipchart. The full grant will enable the group to purchase a projecter (£299), projection table (£70.55), screen (£105), digital camera (£269) and mobile flipchart (£200) that will be used to deliver workshops, lectures and conferences on a regular basis. The new camera will also enable the group to document their current work, with the possibility of delivering digital photography workshops in the future. 30 women will benefit from these purchases each week by enabling the group to deliver valuable and diverse learning activities effectively, as well as over 1,000 people from the local community by providing shared equipment that can be utilised by local groups.
