The grant will contribute to the cost of employing an exercise tutor and community development worker (£7941); volunteer travel (£50); venue hire (£890); creche services (£324); publicity flyers and an advert (£250) and exercise mats and gym balls (£200). This will allow BHSG to continue to run a further 80 Buggygym sessions; an exercise group for new mums, who attend with their babies in pushchairs. They meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30-10.30am. Activities take place either indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather and involves exercise, fitness and opportunities to meet other mums. They estimate that 75 women will benefit.
