The grant will contribute towards the cost of three creche workers (£3,645), health and safety costs for the set up of the creche (£25), hall hire for ESOL classes with creche for 27 weeks (£1,566) and hall hire for ESOL classes without creche for 9 weeks (£216). This will allow Glasgow ESOL Forum to continue to deliver their popular women only ESOL class which takes place on Wednesdays from 12.30pm ? 14.30pm at Garnethill Multicultural Centre. The course runs from August to June for a total of 36 weeks but creche provision is unavailable for 9 of those weeks due to limited space in the Centre. They anticipate that around 40 women will benefit from the classes.
