The grant will cover the costs of sessional youth workers (100 hours in total = £1500), local catering and hire of community/local centres (£500), promotional material (£350), local travel for participants (£400), training and personal development courses (£1300) dissemination costs (video creation, social media boosts) (£500), and four professional microphones for the creation of Vlogs and videos (£350 to support the delivery of the Geez A Chance project, an extension of the Empower Me project. Geez a Chance will give 40 young women aged 14-23 from Glasgow Northwest and Northeast the opportunity to connect with peers and discuss current personal and social issues, engaging in a programme of activity facilitated by a youth worker, including courses; weekly social meetings and day trips.
