The grant will contribute to the cost of workshop delivery on topics such as choice, personal responsibility, assertiveness and leadership (£2500), peer mentoring (£500), conflict management training (£500); annual membership of Fairshare (£290); a community noticeboard (£350); laptop and printer (£750) and trip to the Scottish Parliament (£100). This will allow With Kids to deliver leadership training to a group of women who sit on the steering group of the Calders Children?s Zone. This project was established by With Kids in 2017 to develop a community-led approach to supporting families facing social, emotional and practical challenges, by building parental confidence, self-esteem and support networks. The project will benefit 12 women on the steering group and the wider network of 56 families currently accessing the service.
