The grant will cover the £1,500 costs of purchasing fabric, wadding and thread to allow the 14 members to produce 170-180 quilts over a year at no cost to themselves except for time. Up until now, members have covered the costs of all materials individually. The resulting quilts will be distributed to and will provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children in Edinburgh who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need of a security ?blankie.?
