The grant would cover a sessional worker 3 hours a week for 46 weeks (£2070) volunteer expenses for 10 volunteers (£1200), venue hire (the local church hall), catering, speaker?s fees, publicity and other sessional costs for 46 weeks (£3120). This would enable Real Women to offer a range of facilitated peer support groups on topics chosen by the women once a week plus a once a month weekend workshop on personal development, exploring specific issues around women?s rights, empowerment and skills development. Real Women?s aim is to reach 50 women during this 46 week period, as well as 10 volunteers, which appears to be realistic based on feedback they have received and growing interest in the group
