Full description
In the latter quarter of 2021, Adventure Circus funded a pilot programme to offer free complimentary sessions to aerial circus students to help them to improve their skills and wellbeing. In partnership with a local church who rented their games hall for low cost, women attended flexibility and mindfulness sessions on a Friday evening and juggling/hula hooping sessions followed by acrobalance on a Monday evening. These sessions were free of charge and up to 12 students (covid restriction depending) could attend each class, via a weekly 'drop in' method. The requested funding would cover the cost of the free sessions - hall rent and instructor fees.
The free classes are open to anyone and do not have eligibility criteria.
The project will only support women.
