Full description
The grant would cover the cost of hosting five events held in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Dundee, Edinburgh, and the Borders, for young people (under 25) to explore the issue of tech abuse; what it is, what causes it, and what community responses should be. Costs include staff time (£2,500); performers (£500); venue hire (£500); social media promotion (£100); merchandise (leaflets, badges £500); participant’s expenses (£500); and travel (£300). The events would connect young participants with a community of changemakers, supporting them to develop their skills, confidence and networks to enable them to work in their own communities, and make a change on and offline.
