To organise a health themed programme targeting isolated women in the community providing skills groups, healthy lifestyle talks, alternative therapies and crèche support. The project seeks to provide an annual programme of social and health based activities (yoga, exercise, sewing) for women from ethnic minorities living within the East Renfrewshire area. The dates for the sessions are not fixed but would likely take place from April ? September 2009. The proposed programme is an expansion to their previous levels of output based on an increase demand for their services evidenced through both word of mouth and from specific evaluations.
