The grant shall be used to enable over 7 small local agencies, who all work with vulnerable children and families, to have the opportunity to work together to organise and hold a local International Women’s Day event for local women. A local event is especially valuable to women from certain backgrounds who would otherwise find it difficult to attend events outwit their own area due to differing barriers. The grant shall be used to cover venue, childcare, therapists, children’s entertainer, food, publicity, transport, volunteer costs and PA system (if required), materials for children’s fashion show.
