Towards the cost of one residential weekend and a programme of healthy eating activities, and access to community sports and leisure activities. The project will provide opportunities for the young women to explore new experiences and interests, to find out about themselves, and to grow in confidence and skills. Young women will be involved in planning activities, developing a range of employment skills; social communications, literacy, numeracy, team work, problem solving, decision making, IT and money management skills. These informal learning and development experiences will be integral to the programme, significant for many who have struggled within a formal education setting. Young women will develop their voice and experience influence and belonging as part of their preparation for re-integration into the wider community from an experience of marginalisation.
