The grant will cover the costs of hall hire for the year to support the delivery of the Ladies Team who will train every Wednesday night for one and a half hours, 50 weeks of the year (£30 per week – £1500 for the year). They aim to increase their Ladies Team membership to 25 throughout the year, recruiting more women through Ladies Nights and open evenings. Many of the women will participate. The project will improve the physical health of the participants who will build positive social networks with teammates, tackling poor health and wellbeing and social isolation.
