Full description
The grant requested is to the cost of running an International Women?s Day event in 2011. The event will celebrate the 100th anniversary of IWD and will have a theme on Rural Inclusion. The event is being run in partnership with a number of other local organisations such as WEA Women at work, Commonthread and the Merkinch Community Centre. The event will also be used to enable women who would usually take part in community activity to volunteer and be part of their local community
