To contribute to salaries of the Counsellor and supervision, infant massage instructor and two crèche workers for the pilot Mum’s in Mind Project. The project provides women with the coping strategies not only to enable them to move through post natal depression, but also to deal with future life events thus enabling them to play through can active part in family life as well as their community. The group process and infant massage, support the mother in developing a sense for herself as a competent mother, thus the child/children are more likely to have a positive experience of being parented. 35-40 women per annum would attend and their families would also benefit as post natal depression affects the whole family.
