It will enable Libra to provide continuity of professional counselling supervision which will benefit the whole counselling team and all Libra counselling and group work clients. Libra offers a service to over 200 women per year affected by alcohol misuse. Clients bring issues such as childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, bullying at work and mental health problems to their sessions and it is vital that their counsellors are well supported to do their excellent work. In addition, the grant will fund 40 counselling sessions while the group seeks to attract more core funding for its service.
