The grant will be used towards a series of art workshops for women, leading up to a one day event which will include performances from participants and professionals. The project will bring together a wide range of women from diverse backgrounds, but particularly targeted at ethnic minority communities where women have very limited opportunities to socialise out with their ethnic group. Their aim is to give these women the opportunity to participate in the arts, traditional and modern, with the opportunity to interact.
