The grant will cover the cost of Volunteer expenses (£500), translation and printing of leaflets about health and well being in Nepalese language (£800), costs associated with running a women?s event (£600) and stationary (£100). This will enable ONCW to produce information on the health services in Aberdeen and its environs in a form that is accessible to the Nepalese community. It will cover the cost of disseminating this information through a workshop and cultural event for women and production of a printed leaflet in Nepalese. Volunteers will visit women in their homes to provide counselling to women on health, well being and how to access local health services. The project will initially benefit 75 women.
