The grant of £5,000 will fund to costs to deliver a Trauma Informed Education Recruitment (TIER) Pathway project to two cohorts of 12 women 1 day a week in 6 months blocks. The project will provide a trauma informed female only course designed specifically for people who have experience psychological trauma and who have not yet found work or education solutions that work for them. The end goal is that participants will have a place either in Forth Valley College, Stirling University’s access course or a place on the Modern Apprenticeship Scheme within the NHS in Scotland. A cost breakdown for delivering the project is staff costs (£3240 based on £10 per hour sessional tutor costs over 320 hours), materials (£760), participants travel (£500) and refreshments (£500). RLP will also provide in kind additional staff costs when required.
