Towards the cost of a healthy eating course and childcare costs to attend to benefit lone parents and their families in the community. It will allow the group to participate in local activities, develop confidence and self esteem, improve prospects through training and personal development. Improve skills of parent group members, improve health and support to pre-dominantly female lone parents residing in an area identified as suffering multiple deprivation, to help elevate isolation within this group. Also to provide some respite.
