A grant will contribute towards the costs of running the third in a series of ?chat shows?. Scheduled for 11 March 2015 to celebrate International Women’s Day on 8th March, ?A Female Social Entrepreneur?s Chat Show? will explore the meaning, impact and importance of the empowerment of women on a local, national and international level. 60 people will benefit through event attendance and many more through viewing videos hosted by Queen Margaret University?s website. It will raise awareness of and highlight many issues faced by women in business, not just social enterprises and will generate discussion around the best way to deal with complex topics in an engaging, informative and accessible way. It will also act as a signposting and learning resource for attendees, with 40 organisations providing their details, covering a wide range of women?s issues.
