The grant will contribute to the cost of sessional project staff (£2160); admin support (£300); training materials (£360); a handbook (£429); refreshments (£120) and staff travel (£240). £800 of the costs have already been raised from a local trust. The grant will allow DAMH to run a programme of ?5 ways to wellbeing? courses. Each will take place over a period of six weeks and there will be three courses in total. The work will focus on improving health and wellbeing, focusing on the five key areas of being active, having healthy relationships, connecting/sharing with others, learning new skills and being mindful of surroundings and experiences. The courses will be delivered by a sessional project worker from DAMH, supported by professionals from other organisations. There will be 15 participants in each course and a total of 36 women will benefit, allowing for an average dropout rate of 2-3 per course.
