Full description
A grant will enable the organisation to increase the number of complimentary therapy sessions it can offer service users from 3 sessions every 2 weeks to 7 sessions every 2 weeks and target women in rural areas as well as prostitutes who have not had access to the service before. The sessions allow women to find alternative coping strategies and relaxation techniques, reducing stress and helping them feel better about themselves. These sessions can often be the only form of ?positive? touch that some of the women experience in their current situations. Its also a positive non- judgmental experience that helps women express their feelings in a different setting from face to face or group therapy.
