The project is to employ a tutor and purchase materials to run 3 ten-week courses for women who have been out of the employment market or have never worked, with a focus on refreshing their skills and filling skills gaps. Each ten week course will support 8 women, with 2 two-hour classes each week. Course content is determined by the women attending, so will respond to the particular needs of the group. The delivery of the courses will be structured to support the development of strong relationship between the women so that each group can form a social network to help each other in the future.
