Scottish Churches Housing Action received a £1,000 grant from the evening and are delighted to announce that they have begun planning their developments.
The organisation brings together the main churches and local community groups to eliminate homelessness in Scotland which affects around 80,000 people each year.
Scottish Churches Housing Action has partnered up with Grampians Women’s Aid and are developing a starter packs initiative to help families and individuals who have been homeless in the Peterhead and Fraserburgh area of Aberdeenshire.
Work is expected to start in April, to show that the community cares about homelessness and we are looking forward to seeing the developments.
