Grant Making: donations into the fund between November 2013 and April 2016 allowed us to make grants totaling over £194,000. A one-off grant from HMRC allowed us to make grants of £510,000in 2016/2017.
Reserves: our Capital Fund – which is our reserve fund – currently has a value of over £250,000.
Fundraising; we wish to raise funds so that we can make grants of £200,000 in 2017 – 2018 and £235,000 in 2018 – 2019.
Core costs: are covered by private donations already received and restricted for this purpose and include the employment of a part-time Development Manager.
This investment enables the Development Manager to focus on raising income to meet the mission of the Women’s Fund for Scotland which is “to make small grants to projects across Scotland that support women’s growth, self-sufficiency and social economic equality”
At the end of the financial year 2016/2017 we have:
|Annual Grant making income||£510, 000|
|Grant making spend||£510,000|
