This will allow Amina to deliver a project in partnership with Rape Crisis Edinburgh focusing on the mental health and wellbeing of minority ethnic young women and girls, including those with a learning/physical disability and mental health problem. Participants will attend a weekly series of workshops and discussion groups with a focus on violence against women, challenging perceptions of beauty and gender stereotypes. This aim is to improve the confidence and self-esteem of women. Up to 50 young women aged 13 ? 25 will benefit by attending the sessions.
