Full description
The grant will enable Alternatives to relaunch their website, run a marketing campaign to reach more clients, support the delivery of online, telephone and video chat counselling and support group activities, help train 4 new volunteers and provide 50 kindness bags for patients experiencing miscarriage or abortion. The organisation has found that referrals have fallen during the pandemic and suspect that this is because people don?t have the same access to the health professionals who would generally refer to Alternatives. They know that there are people in the community who could benefit from the help and support that they could provide and plan to relaunch their service with a view to reaching a higher number of people in need.
? Marketing and relaunch campaign £2052
? Kindness Bags x 50 £200
? Laptop for home working £1100
? Training and supervision costs £3600
Total project costs are £6952, a request of £5000 towards this has been requested.
