Full description
To provide a range of 128 complementary therapy sessionss to their female service users to enable them to manage the difficult process of counselling and healing from sexual abuse. The organisation recognises that counselling on its own can be extremely painful for victims of abuse and that complementary therapies, such as reiki and massage, can provide a buffer for clients during a time of emotional distress. The project will run for one year, until March 2010. The application builds upon a successful pilot project which found that some women would not continue with the counselling without these additional therapies.
