Full description
The group have previously worked with vulnerable and disadvantaged women and their children and would like to increase this provision due to the extremely strong feedback. The grant will be used to provide tailor-made outdoor activity sessions for the women, some of whom are young parents or have suffered domestic abuse. The women will design the 12 sessions and key outcomes of the programmes will be to have fun, increase confidence and build bonds between parents and their children. The grant will cover the cost of the instructors, equipment and transport to allow the sessions to begin in the spring of 2011.
