Towards the cost of training and network events, newsletters and feasibility for the car and hall childcare projects including public consultation and production of business plans/funding budgets etc. This will allow RUN to continue its current level of networking and training services for their members (in particular computer skills and first aid), and to increase awareness of what they do. The Hall upgrade project aims to investigate and upgrade one of their local village halls to make it of a sufficient standard to be used for crèches and local childcare providers. The car project aims to provide a community ‘pool’ car that can be hired out on a hourly basis from the office, enabling local people additional access to transport, especially second partner in single car families, older people who may not want to run a car for a minimal use or other business use.
