Full description
This application is towards the cost of providing a 10 week, stage one recovery programme. Costs include preparation and printing of course materials (£300); 2 members of staff for 2hrs per week (£800) and a filmed documentary about the 10 week process to evaluate the course and be used to showcase the service (£900). The filming would take place on the first day, half way through and at the end. Facilitated by a BAFTA-winning filmographer, editing and production would be done with the participants to ensure their engagement in the documentary as well as increase their knowledge and skills. The staff consists of the founder who has an honours degree in psychology and a qualified clinical psychologist neither of whom are currently being paid in order to establish the social enterprise. They have already raised the remaining project costs from FirstPort through a start-up award. 18 women will benefit.
